This is an online version of Proffittenter - to be known as Proffittcenter Pro. If this does not work for you, it is no idication of how ProffittCenter will behave on your local machine. This is purely experimental and has not been tested with other browsers, etc.This program is an AJAX based program and is at an early stage of development, but there is a functioning sales screen. If you already know about ProffittCenter, you can go straight to the program. If you need help, use the 'show me how' pages.
At a simple level, all you need to do is scan in or key in product codes. If the code is unrecognised, scan it a second time, and then start to fill in the details. The product will be known in future. To change from a single item to N items, enter *N followed by enter. To pay for a sale, enter the amount tendered in pence followed by the enter key.
The program is set up for UK use, but provision is made for other currencies in the programming. The visual appearance can be altered by stylesheets, so the end result can be to your own choice. The program is under development, so come back from time to time to check out the state of progress. The program only works at the moment with Firefox.
