New updates are regularly available for download from the ProffittCenter site. (Currently www.proffittcenter.org) If you have any problems, do try the latest download, before contacting ProffittCenter as support can only be provided for the latest version. Check the date of your version by looking in the about box under the help menu item. If you are using ProffittCenter in a working environment, it is advisable to keep a copy of your current version in case of fresh problems with the latest version. Although each version is meant to be an improvement, fresh faults do occasionally occur. To install a new version, you can just install a new version without any need to uninstall. Your old database and settings will be preserved. If you do uninstall, some of the settings will be lost, but not the database. It would still be advisable to have a backup prior to this, just in case. Most users install an additional copy of ProffittCenter on their home computer so that they can evaluate each new version carefully, without the pressures of a working environment.
