To match the Import facility, there is an equivalent Export function, activated by the menu selection File |Export. It starts with a File Save Dialog enabling the user to name the export file. The default name is Import.csv. The reason for this choice is that the most likely reason for exporting a product file is to read it back into the same or a different installation of ProffittCenter. Note that the imported data is only used to suggest product names and prices, but does not form a new product database, obviating large product database tables, full of unused products.
