At the end of day, 1. Do takings and print, which will take you to cashing up. 2. Cashing up the first time you will have to alter starting float, but subsequently, the float is the amount of loose, i.e. not in bags, change plus four five pound notes. This may seem odd, but reduces the amount of counting that you have to do. With less counting there is less chance of errors. When you have got the amounts checked, and cheques etc. reconciled, print out the cash up form. We did this on the back of the takings report, on half a sheet of A4. Put a recordable CD in before printing, for back-up. The program will back up and then shut down. Lock up the cash tray with its float for the night. [Previous] [Main] [Next] |
