A bin offer allows for the case when mixed items are sold for a fixed price such as any three of Mars products for 99p even though individual products may have varying prices.
To set up a bin offer, choose the menu selection Offers|Create and then choose Bin offer in the drop down box and then press enter.
Select the first product by scanning or by the alpha lookup.
Pressing enter moves the focus to the quantity for the offer and then the limit. Leave the limit as zero if there is no limit. Limit values do not stop the sale of more items - they limit the items that can be bought at a discount.
Set the quantity to the number needed and the price to the total, and add extra products. In this case, quantity is three and price is 99p.
Then press the 'Plus' button to add further products, after entering the product barcode.
